You met Dr Peter Attia in our last post “What if we´re wrong about diabetes?” In the video he told us that prior to his weight loss he was exercising 3 to 4 hours every single day and ate according to the food pyramid. However, he got fatter and fatter and was on his way to getting diabetes. Then he changed his diet, he lost 40 pounds and he did not have insulin resistance any more.
The picture above shows a few of the foods that you will find in his refrigerator. He writes on his website:
“Note that on average I consume about 4,000 to 4,500 calories per day. I get this from approximately 400-425 grams of fat, 120-140 grams of protein, and 30-50 grams of carbs. In addition, there are a number of supplements I consume daily”.
