Lars-Erik Litsfeldt – a LCHF pioneer

litsfeldt_095

Mr. Litsfeldt was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes when he was only 43 years old (2001). Soon after, he suffered his first heart attack. He was told to continue eating the carbohydrates that were making him sick. After spending long hours on the Internet he discovered the LCHF lifestyle. Now, he does not have to take insulin any longer nor does he have any other medical complaints.

In his book “Diabetes? No Thanks!”, which you can purchase in our store, Mr Litsfeldt lifts the lid on the hidden story that Big Pharma doesn´t want you to know – how a natural and evolutionary low carb, high fat diet can, in fact, alleviate all the symptoms of diabetes.

Thank you Mr. Litsfeldt for sharing, and keep up the good work!

The Bulletproof Executive

davidBULLET

This is the Bulletproof Executive, Dave Asprey. He is a health blogger, entrepreneur and personal bio hacker. He is the man behind “Bulletproof Coffee,” which is coffee with butter and MCT oil. Dave spent $250,000 on various experiments and tests on his own body over a 15-year period and his conclusions about health are not according to the dietary guidelines. He lost over 100 pounds consuming 4500 calories a day and no exercise. I wonder what he would look like if “a calorie were a calorie?” By the way, I think he is married to a Swedish woman.

Follow this link for the list of foods he recommends.

What´s up in Scandinavia

menu_lowcarbsixdollarburger

McDonalds in Sweden has started to serve breakfasts with scrambled organic eggs and bacon (hopefully good quality). You can get a gluten-free bun on your hamburger at most of the fast food restaurants. At Max, voted the restaurant with the most delicious hamburgers, you can get a LCHF hamburger. Rasta, truck stops in Sweden, is now serving a LCHF meal of the week.

More success stories

stock-photo-20557883-key-to-success

During 2012 I collected some success stories written on the Swedish dietdoctor blog etc. I would like to share them with you.

“I practice soccer four to five times a week for two to two and a half hours each time as well as a game. The practice is intense and often ends with strength training. Since I started eating the LCHF diet I cannot remember that I have ever been sick and I have had hardly any injuries. I can manage the training and I don’t feel as worn out as I used to. Comparing myself to my teammates it seems that I recover faster, that my body is more alert, I have fewer injuries and I have the most endurance of all during our fitness practice and tests. Interestingly, I´m working in a warehouse where I walk eight hours a day before going to the soccer practice, without any rest. I feel great and my stomach is much calmer and I never get cramps after the games, as I used to. My coach doesn´t know about the LCHF lifestyle yet and he wants us to eat a lot of carbs. Actually I would like to tell everybody how fantastic this is, but I haven´t and instead I keep my diet a secret. I think it would be awesome to get the whole team to switch to the LCHF lifestyle and follow up with physical tests etc.” ~A woman playing soccer in the 2nd division.

Ouch, he had severe stomach pain!

gas_trouble

In April I met a friend of mine from Sweden. When I told him about this blog he told me that every single day for over 30 years he has had stomach pain; a gassy, bloated stomach that hurt, often accompanied by diarrhea. Some days he had to go to bed because of the pain. He had asked his MD about it several times, but the tests did not show anything. (more…)
