Does sugar cause cancer?

In a previous post I wrote about cancer treatment at the University Hospital of Wurzburg, Germany.

They wrote:

Cancer cells have a giant appetite for sugar but have a problem burning fat to meet its energy demands.

However, they don’t agree with the above video when it comes to fruit:

Fruit, although delicious and full of vitamins, must be avoided because it usually contains too much glucose and fructose. Berries, on the other hand, are especially valuable because they are not only low carb, but might also have cancer-inhibiting properties. Eat small amounts of fruit and berries and keep track of the carbohydrates (max. 6 grams per portion)

My guess is that in the future we will hear about many more studies that show the carbohydrates-cancer connection. Here is a new study from Australia.

March 26th 1984 – a sad day!

Thirty years ago, today, The Time Magazine looked like this:

This was a sad moment for the whole world because since then millions of lives have been wasted. We were told that saturated fat was bad for us and instead told to eat low fat products stuffed with sugar and chemicals and to use highly processed vegetable oils, which I have written about lately. We were also told to eat bread (I remember in Sweden we were told to eat 6 to 8 slices of bread each day), cereals, etc. that turn into sugar in our bodies. Yes, wheat and other grains turn into sugar in the body.

I think worst of all is seeing the “Heart Healthy” signs on these products that are filled with wheat and sugar and only serves to give us heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and obesity.

The lobbyists have done a good job for Big Food and Big Pharma!

This was the start of the obesity and diabetic epidemics. If you still don´t know what happened and why, this is a very important video for you to watch.
