Children, sugar, school lunches, etc. have been the topics lately. What about sleep? Sleep is a topic that concerns all of us, not only children. I have written on this blog under Health:

Get enough sleep. Not getting enough sleep can be a problem for weight loss. A recommended 7-8 hours/night is good for adults, 9-10 hours for teenagers, 9-12 hours for younger children, and in a pitch black bedroom.

Is this true? If we live until we are about 90 years old we spend about 30 years asleep; 1/3 of our lives. What can happen if we don´t get enough sleep? This is a new and very interesting talk by neuroscientist Russell Foster.
